Arabel Lebrusan is a small jewellery design company of Ethical Jewellery. We are expanding rapidly and we are looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join our team. Our office is in Brighton. 


Main duties 

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join our team. She/he will carry out most of our Digital content, Social Media management and Digital Marketing activities. Passionate about luxury and jewellery, you will be organised, demonstrating initiative and attention to detail when preparing company information, and dealing with our products. You will enjoy generating creative ideas and the digital world. We are flexible about working hours, so this job will fit an experienced free-lancer looking for a part time job to fit around school hours, or a young professional with a couple of years of experience at similar rolls.


Responsibilities include: 

Editorial and production 

-Managing all copy on the website (pages and product descriptions), social media channels and blog 

-Writing stories and features  

-Creating press releases 

-Creating images for all channels 

-Creating video 


Marketing & PR 

-Updating and maintaining the Marketing calendar 

-Review and report on competitor activity 

-Generating ideas for Social Media content and maintaining all social media channels 

-Creating regular newsletters 

-Interacting with customers regularly though social media 

-Actively searching for Brighton based promotional activities 

-Supporting our freelance PR Manager with press requests when needed (posting samples & images) 

-Creating and managing basic digital marketing campaigns (using sponsored ads on Facebook and Instagram).  

-Running analytics reports using Google Analytics and Social Media Analytics 


Customer Service

-Communication with customers through social media channels and email regarding customer requests and our very popular bespoke service


Person Specifications: 

You are a Marketing, PR or Fashion young professional with: (or a new mum with tons of experience and ideas who wants to work while her kids are at school...)

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

-Excellent graphic design, editing imagery (Photoshop/Lightroom) 

-Sound organisation skills 

-Work quickly, hard and accurately under pressure 

-Good IT skills –word, excel, ability to create images 

-Video editing knowledge preferably 

-A good heart (you are a nice person who likes to have a laugh sometimes)

Salary : £8-£12/per hour, depending on experience  

Location of vacancy : Brighton, BN1, Five-ways area (please note this is an in-house position)

Hours: 25 hours a week minimum with flexible days
