Great Britain boasts a tremendous history of jewellery craft. From diamond polishers removing minute flaws - a painstaking process that requires intense concentration and a great deal of experience - to diamond mounters setting stones into platinum on a microscopic scale, the people behind our jewels serve to maintain centuries of cultural heritage and tradition.
Our ethical engagement rings and wedding bands are created entirely in the UK, along with most of our bespoke commissions.
First designed by Arabel in Brighton, each jewel is finished in Hatton Garden, London's jewellery district, by skilled craftspeople who each specialise in their particular stage of the process.
Before being sent on their way, every piece is hallmarked at the Assay Office with the London leopard's head.

THE GOLDSMITH
Some of our simpler jewels begin their journey at our casting house in Melton Mowbray. The designs that require a little more time and attention, however, are hand-cast and cleaned by our master goldsmith Theo at his workshop in Hatton Garden.

Our skilful engraver Darren works on each jewel entirely by hand, upheld by years of experience as he inscribes our intricate signature patterns using traditional engraving tools.

Mixing old and new...
CAD Design
Some of our jewels are fashioned using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. These pieces start their journey here at our studio, where they're drawn up on a computer as a three-dimensional design. These 3D drawings are then printed in castable wax so our Melton Mowbray casting house can transform them into real jewels, made from precious metals, using the lost wax technique.

Like a badge of honour, our creations bear the special Created in the UK stamp alongside their hallmarks.
Arabel’s Spanish roots are present in her filigree jewels, the fruits of expert craftspeople in family-run workshops dotted along Spain's Via de la Plata. It's in these very workshops that centuries of skill have been passed down from one generation to the next.
Arabel has worked with master filigree artisan Lorenzo for over 13 years now.
Created by hand and showcasing the best of traditional Spanish craft, these filigree jewels are exquisite, prized and totally unique.
The art of twisting wires...
Handcrafted Filigree
Silver is extremely malleable, which is why it's used for our intricate filigree jewels. It can be hammered into sheets so thin that it would take 100,000 to stack an inch high, and can be drawn into wire finer than a human hair.
The soft-layering technique used by our filigree artisans produces delicate, lace-like motifs, specially designed to resemble feminine curves.

Traditional jewellery skills are invaluable human capital; part of a country's cultural heritage. Even in an age of technological dominion, we’ve all been taught our deepest-set skills and values by those around us and those who came before us.
The touch of the expert craftsperson and their deep understanding of shape and form rivals many contemporary technologies, creating unique, heart-felt jewellery in a way that a machine never could. It's vital that we keep these skills alive for fear of losing them forever.
