The Pawnee people of Nebraska, Kansas and now Oklahoma tell a story about a man called Pahokatawa, who did not rest after death, but was brought back to life and travelled to Earth by meteor to assure his people that falling stars were not to be feared. Drawing inspiration from Pahokatawa’s triumphant descent, the Broken Stars collection shuns the demand for newness and ‘perfection,’ redefining beauty by championing shards of gemstone that would otherwise be discarded. Set every which way in 14ct recycled gold bands for a highly textured finish, these chips of diamond, ruby, emerald and sapphire are arranged in unique constellations, each ring completely unique.

Precious gemstones and metals are formed over deep time through complex geological and cosmic processes. The Broken Stars collection rescues these survivors from rejection, offering them more time to shine.
