Ethical Engagement Ring with blue pear shape sapphire and Canadian diamonds

Design-led engagement rings, made in London

Each ring in this collection is created by hand in London's Hatton Garden, drawn from a design language built over fifteen years of independent studio practice. We work with Fairmined Ecological Gold and recycled precious metals, traceable sapphires, and diamonds of both conflict-free and reclaimed old-cut provenance - chosen for their character and their history. These are commitment jewels made not just for the moment, but for the life that follows it.

Lebrusan Studio has been pioneering responsible jewellery in the UK since 2009. Provenance is part of a ring's essence, not an addition to it.

Lebrusan Studio's Candy Pop collection of ready-to-wear unique engagement rings. Delicate bands hand-engraved with a scroll pattern and ethical colorful sapphires are set in rub-over settings.

Our design-led language

The rings in this collection share a vocabulary. Settings are combined in unexpected and non-typical ways. Attention is afforded to hand-engraving, surface quality and construction whilst maintaining balance and wearability. There is a quiet confidence in how elements are brought together: the interplay of precision and handwork, detail and restraint.

Lebrusan Studio's work is not driven by fashion but by form, proportion and use; How a ring will feel when worn, how it will age, and how it will come to belong to the person who wears it. Quality underpins everything because we believe the beginning is only the beginning - an engagement ring's true value is acquired over the years it's worn.

What our customers say

"Arabel and her team were amazing from start to
finish. They were incredibly patient through lots of ideas and design changes
and helped us create a ring that is 100% unique and couldn't be more Jo.
Meeting Arabel in person to talk through everything was such an enjoyable
experience. We'll definitely be going back for our wedding bands."

Not sure where to start?

Tell us a little about your approximate budget and the person you're buying for; their personal style, the hints they've dropped and the things they love. We'll suggest three rings from the collection that might be the right fit. No obligation, no pressure.

Hand Engraving

Hand engraving plays a vital role across our commitment rings. In some cases, the surfaces of bands are adorned using a vocabulary of historical and contemporary references: geometric motifs, linework or nature-inspired repeating patterns. Elsewhere, engraving is carried quietly on the insides of bands: private dates, words or custom emblems intended for the wearer alone.

These details are not incidental. For centuries, hand engraving has been used to introduce meaning and individuality, rhythm and visual depth.

DIAMONDS & SAPPHIRES

We work primarily with diamonds and sapphires, each selected for its provenance, individual character and performance in wear over decades. Stones are not chosen in isolation. We consider how light and surface interact across the entire piece - from the stone's cut to its setting, the metal to the hand engraving that adorns it.

Our diamonds are conflict-free and fully traceable: certified Canadian diamonds, artisanal Ocean Diamonds, or reclaimed old-cut diamonds that carry the quiet marks of a life already lived. Our sapphires are sourced from audited suppliers with documented origins, chosen not only for their colour and clarity but for the stories behind them.

Our material standard

Most of our commitment rings are made with artisanal Fairmined Ecological Gold or recycled precious metal. Fairmined Ecological Gold comes from third party certified small-scale mines, extracted without mercury or cyanide and traded with a fully documented chain of custody from ground to studio.

We've always worked to this standard - not because it's required of us, but because provenance is inseparable from a ring's character and symbolism. A material without a known history is a material we do not use. We hold documentation on every aspect of our work, and we're glad to share it with you.

Commission an engagement ring

Some of the most significant pieces that have left this studio began as a single conversation. A bespoke commission is an invitation to work directly with Arabel - from first drawing through stone selection and crafting - until a piece of jewellery exists that belongs to no one else and could have come from nowhere but here.

It begins not with how you want your ring to look, but with what you want it to mean in thirty years. Lebrusan Studio has been designing and crafting bespoke engagement rings for many years. The design archive speaks for itself.
