Hand engraving
The engraving of a wedding band is weighted with more symbolism than the engraving of any other piece of jewellery. Worn every day for a lifetime, the pattern becomes inextricably entwined with the person who wears it. Our studio draws on a vocabulary of historical and contemporary motifs, geometric patterns, botanical forms and scroll work, each worked directly into the surface of the precious metal by hand.
Some bands carry their engraving on the inside; a private a date, word or custom emblem intended only for the wearer.

SIGNATURE ENGRAVED BANDS
Lebrusan Studio creates men's wedding bands with the same attention afforded to every other piece of jewellery; with care for how they wear on a larger hand, how they'll hold their form over decades of daily wear, and how they relate to whatever else is worn alongside them. Timeless court shapes, symbolic hand-engraved bands and distinctive hammered finishes, all made to order in Fairmined Ecological Gold or Recycled+ precious metals.

"It was really important to me to buy from a business which is a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community all year long, and doesn't just use queer couples as an ad tool during Pride month." - Carolina
"Working with a company that we knew supported LGBTQ+ couples meant I felt completely comfortable in my purchase. I would not hesitate before recommending Lebrusan Studio to any couples, especially LGBTQ+ individuals." - Jess

Every wedding ring in this collection is made with Fairmined Ecological Gold or Recycled+ precious metal, which pairs recycled metal with a direct premium paid to certified artisanal mining communities. All platinum wedding rings are made from recycled platinum as standard. These are the metals the studio now uses for all its wedding rings, after fifteen years of working towards this standard.
Yes. Engraving is a core part of the studio's design language. Bands may be engraved on the surface with historical or contemporary motifs - geometric patterns, botanical forms, scroll work, milgrain beading - worked directly into the band by hand. Personalised inscriptions can also be placed on the inside of the band, carrying a date, a word, or a mark intended only for the wearer.
Yes. The studio makes men's wedding rings with the same attention given to every other piece, considered for how they wear on a larger hand and hold their form over decades of daily use. Options include plain court shapes, flat court bands, engraved bands and hammered finishes, all made to order in Fairmined Ecological Gold or Recycled+ precious metals.
Yes, and this is something the studio particularly enjoys. Some of the most considered rings made here were designed as a pair from the beginning, each shaped by its relationship to the other. If you have a Lebrusan Studio engagement ring, or an engagement ring from elsewhere, the studio can work with its profile, width and setting to design a wedding ring that sits alongside it well. This is best explored at a consultation.
Yes. Bespoke wedding ring commissions begin at £2,000 and are designed through drawing and material study in collaboration with Arabel and the studio team. You might start from a design in the collection and adapt it, bring an inherited stone or piece of gold, or develop something entirely new. Consultations take place in Hatton Garden, London or online, and are free of charge.
Yes, and this is something the studio feels strongly about. All rings are designed without gender in mind and chosen by the wearer rather than prescribed by tradition. The Freedom Collection was made specifically with couples who sit outside conventional bridal categories in mind.
