Awards & Milestones
A record of continuity and practice.
Behind Lebrusan Studio’s jewellery practice is visual artist and jewellery designer Arabel Lebrusan.
With over two decades of experience, her work brings together traditional artisanship, intricate decorative detail, and a long-standing commitment to material responsibility. Spanning jewellery, sculpture, and socially engaged art, the practice is shaped by lived experience and formal training across art, jewellery design and sustainable practice.
Educated in fine art and gemmology in Madrid, jewellery design at Central Saint Martins and sculpture at the Royal College of Art, Lebrusan's academic grounding informs a way of working that moves fluently between concept and craft, ethics and material, symbolism and wearability. Cultural heritage - including Spanish roots - remains a quiet but persistent influence throughout her work.
The milestones below trace the development of this practice over time: awards, publications, public moments, and projects that together form a continuous body of work rather than a single narrative arc.

These milestones do not mark an endpoint. They're achievements that sit within a continuing practice grounded in responsible sourcing, material transparency, artist-led design and small-scale, local production. Jewellery here is understood not only as adornment, but as a cultural and symbolic form shaped by ethics, craft and meaning over time.
Recognition exists alongside the daily work of the studio - drawing, making, questioning, and refining - which continues quietly beyond public moments.
