Ethical Engagement Ring with blue pear shape sapphire and Canadian diamonds

Design-led engagement rings, made in London

Each ring in this collection is made by hand in Hatton Garden, drawn from a design language built over fifteen years of independent studio practice. We work with Fairmined Ecological Gold and recycled precious metals, traceable sapphires, conflict-free and reclaimed diamonds, and old-cut stones chosen for their character and their history. Made for the moment, and for the life that follows it.

Lebrusan Studio has been pioneering responsible jewellery in the UK since 2009. Provenance is part of what a ring is, not an addition to it.

Lebrusan Studio's Candy Pop collection of ready-to-wear unique engagement rings. Delicate bands hand-engraved with a scroll pattern and ethical colorful sapphires are set in rub-over settings.

Our design-led language

The rings in this collection share a vocabulary. Settings are combined in ways that are not typical, with attention given to engraving, surface, and construction while maintaining balance and wearability. There is a quiet confidence in how elements are brought together: the relationship between stone and metal, the interplay of precision and handwork, detail and restraint.

The work is not driven by fashion but by form, proportion, and use. How a ring will feel when worn, how it will age, and how it will come to belong to the person who wears it. Quality underpins everything: care is given to how a ring sits on the hand, holds its form over time, and improves with wear.

What our customers say

"Arabel and her team were amazing from start to
finish. They were incredibly patient through lots of ideas and design changes
and helped us create a ring that is 100% unique and couldn't be more Jo.
Meeting Arabel in person to talk through everything was such an enjoyable
experience. We'll definitely be going back for our wedding bands."

— Alex, London

Not sure where to start?

Tell us a little about the person you are buying for, their style, what they love, your approximate budget, and we will suggest three rings from the collection that might be right. No obligation, no pressure.

Hand Engraving

Engraving plays a visible role across our rings. Bands may be worked on the surface with historical or contemporary motifs, adding pattern, rhythm, and visual depth. In other pieces, engraving is placed on the inside of the band, carrying dates, words, or marks intended for the wearer alone.

These details are not incidental. Engraving is used to introduce meaning, reference, and individuality, through a repeating motif or a private inscription. We draw on a vocabulary of historical and contemporary references: geometric motifs, line work, repeat patterns. It is a surface that carries both visual rhythm and personal memory.

DIAMONDS & SAPPHIRES

We work primarily with diamonds and sapphires, selected for provenance, individual character, and how they will perform in wear over decades. Stones are not chosen in isolation. We consider how light and surface interact within the whole piece: the cut, the setting, the metal, the engraving.

Our diamonds are conflict-free and fully traceable: certified Canadian diamonds, Ocean diamonds, or reclaimed stones that carry the quiet marks of a life already lived. Our sapphires are sourced from audited suppliers with documented origins, chosen for colour, clarity, and the story behind them

Our material standard

Most of our rings are made with Fairmined Ecological Gold or recycled precious metal. Fairmined Ecological Gold comes from audited small-scale mines, extracted without mercury or cyanide, with a fully documented chain of custody from ground to studio.

We have always worked to this standard, not because it is required of us, but because provenance is inseparable from what a ring is and symbolises. A material without a known history is a material we do not use. We hold documentation on everything that goes into our work, and we are glad to share it with you.

Commission an engagement ring

Some of the most significant pieces that have left this studio began as a single conversation. A commission is an invitation to work directly with Arabel, from the first drawing through stone selection and making, until something exists that belongs to no one else and could have come from nowhere else.

It begins not with what you want the ring to look like, but with what you want it to mean in thirty years. The studio has been making commissioned engagement rings for many years. The archive speaks for itself.
