Bespoke jewellery london

In addition to her acclaimed collection of ready-to wear jewellery, award-winning ethical jeweller, Arabel Lebrusan, provides a one-to-one service, which enables clients to own a piece that’s truly unique to them.

From beautiful bangles, to eye-catching pendants and dazzling engagement rings, Arabel’s bespoke service provides an opportunity to bring your dream jewellery to life, through collaboration with an experienced, award-winning designer. This could also include up cycling an old piece of jewellery into a fresh, new design.

After an initial consultation, Arabel works collaboratively with private clients to agree their desired end result.  She then presents a set of designs guaranteed to stand the test of time and be loved for generations, each one carefully planned to the minutest detail.

Every agreed design is then meticulously crafted by hand into a bespoke piece over an average eight-week period, fashioned from only 100% recycled or fair trade precious metals.

Through every step of the creation process, Arabel maintains the strictest quality control and clients can rest assured that any gemstone they choose is also ethically sourced and certified.

"Arabel's outstanding talent was to transform the vision I had into pure poetry. Her approach was to combine aesthetics with engineering and the result is perfect." Sigi. London.

Commissioning bespoke jewellery – A step-by-step guide

Prepare for your consultation

As well as choosing a designer whose work you love, it’s important to ensure that you are both on the same page in terms of the vision you have for the finished piece. This includes everything, from visual inspirations to practical considerations.

Gather inspiration

Taking time to research your project is essential. Google and Pinterest are useful places to start, as are magazines and other fine jewellery websites. Keep a running record of what you like ready to show your designer.  Think about colours and styles but also stone cuts, and settings. Making sketches could be helpful too, if you’re good with a pencil.

Set your budget

Having a clear idea of your budget from the beginning helps manage expectations and gives your designer a framework to work within. Don’t dismay if your budget isn’t as generous as you’d like, beautiful compromises are usually very achievable. Bespoke engagements rings by Arabel Lebrusan start at £950.

Consider timings

Have the discussion early on about how long your piece will take to complete. You will want to factor this in. As a guide, an Arabel Lebrusan bespoke ring usually takes 2-3 weeks to be designed and then between 8-10 weeks to be created.
